Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed an executive order establishing the Natural State Initiative and Natural State Advisory Council, for which Brian Sanders will serve as its chair. Gov. Sanders said the effort will be part of an emphasis in her administration to promote the state’s highly regarded parks, rivers and hunting grounds to boost tourism and public health.

Tom Walton says the organizers thought “landing an event like this would set us up for what we want to become in the future: A place that holds world-class bike races across all disciplines.”
Walton thinks Fayetteville is ready.

Recreational kayak manufacturer Eddyline Kayaks has picked up a minority growth investment from Bentonville investment firm RZC Investments. The investment will support various growth initiatives, including the company’s plans to set up a physical presence in Northwest Arkansas.
