Apparel Company LIVSN Designs Secures Seed Capital From RZC Investments

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – December 4, 2023 – LIVSN Designs, a sustainable outdoor apparel brand built on the idea that you need great clothing to live a well-worn life, is pleased to announce that it has raised a round of seed capital led by RZC Investments, a Bentonville-based multi-strategy investment firm deploying capital on behalf of Steuart Walton and Tom Walton.

The investment is a strategic step in furthering LIVSN’s commitment to redefining outdoor apparel through sustainability and innovation, and will support team expansion, further product-line diversification, and distribution scale-up. RZC was joined in investment by Cadron Capital Partners and Techstars, among others.

Founded in 2018 in Northwest Arkansas, an emerging hub for outdoor recreation businesses, today LIVSN has five full-time employees, has raised over $1 million on Kickstarter, and now offers its apparel for men and women at 80 retailers.

“RZC has been my ideal partner since the day I started LIVSN,” said founder Andrew Gibbs-Dabney. “Their track record of building world-class products combined with their focus on outdoor recreation makes the RZC team a perfect ally to accelerate LIVSN’s mission.”

“Our investment decision was heavily influenced by LIVSN’s fastidious dedication to product excellence, its impressive track record, and its commitment to sustainable practices,” said Don Huffner, vice president at RZC. “We’ve admired Andrew’s vision for years and are excited to support LIVSN in leading the outdoor apparel category with versatile, durable products.”

Huffner and outdoor industry veteran Phil Graves will join the company’s board of directors alongside founder and CEO Gibbs-Dabney.

Guided by a strong mission and meticulous craftsmanship leading to its premium-quality products, LIVSN has carved a niche in the marketplace with a cult-like fan base, confidence from the outdoor industry’s best retailers, and a string of accolades from prominent media publications including Forbes, GearJunkie, Outside, and Men’s Journal.

LIVSN stands out for its dedication to quality and sustainability, creating products that align with the ethos of a life well-lived outdoors. After graduating the competitive Techstars Austin 2019 program, the company has expanded its product line from its marquis Flex Canvas Pant to include its innovative Ecotrek Pants, crafted from recycled nylon sourced from recovered fishing buoys, and Century Jacket, among others.  For further information about LIVSN and its products, visit livsndesigns.com.
