The Runway Group commissioned a survey of 600 Arkansans (PDF download) to assist the Arkansas Economic Recovery Task Force to better understand issues associated with the economic recovery and how to focus their ongoing work. The results of the survey were shared with the Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s administration and have been posted on the state of Arkansas’ economic recovery website, ArkansasReady.com.
Steuart Walton, Co-Founder of Runway Group and Chairman of the Governor’s Economic Recovery Task Force, said, “The survey was conducted to help the Task Force provide insightful and meaningful recommendations to the Governor. The survey highlights key areas on which the Task Force will be focused. Our goal—and that of State leadership, businesses and Arkansans throughout the state—is to reduce the spread of the virus and help the economy continue to recover. We are committed to that objective and will diligently continue that mission.”
Walton also said, “First and foremost, the survey confirms how engaged and focused Arkansans are on COVID-19 from both a health and economic perspective. It also highlights that the best way to restore consumer confidence and the best way to help the economy continue to recover is to reduce the spread of the virus in Arkansas.”
