Sunny’s Turns Up the Lights on Catering, Coffee

Since it opened on 2nd St. in Bentonville two years ago, Sunny’s has brought the light of thoughtfully sourced food and wellness programming to Downtown. Now, with extended hours, this community cornerstone has added coffee and catering to its mix.

Locally Sourced Coffee

Sunny’s recognized that many regular customers wanted a Sunny’s experience for breakfast. Now they are open 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. every day, with our full menu of coffee, breakfast and lunch served all day.

The addition of coffee was a big undertaking, because it had to meet the Sunny’s standard for quality. After careful testing, several coffee offerings are offered alongside the “Sips” menu, which includes smoothies (try the smoothie of the month!).

“We use Airship Coffee for our beans, which are roasted locally and sustainably sourced,” says Front of House Manager Carly Friederich, “Also, we make all of our dairy-alternative milks right here in-house.”

Almond, coconut, and oat milk are made on location with no additives, no emulsifiers, “and with words you can pronounce,” Carly adds. The oat-milk option is only available for cold drinks, however.

Sunny’s Can Brighten Your Meetings

With so many businesses thriving downtown, Sunny’s staff quickly realized that catering would add a lot of value to their offerings. Everything on the Sunny’s menu is available for large orders.

“We love our Downtown businesses,” Carly says. “For under 10 people, we can usually take same-day orders; for more than that, 24-hour notice is necessary.”

Larger events, for 200+ people, can be accommodated with a few weeks’ notice.

“Our most popular catering option is a box lunch with a sandwich and chips,” says Sous Chef Lillie Lindsey. “Our bread is made in-house, too, so our sandwiches are 100% Sunny’s. Nothing on our menu is NOT made in-house!”
