Outdoor and Recreation Investment
Art brings the community together, sparks dialogue, and allows us to experience the world around us in new and exciting ways. Our creative efforts often focus on ‘reinventing spaces,’ as a means of energizing the old to reflect the new. From murals to sculpture and even neon signs, our passion for the creative is the reason we’re involved in all the work you can see here—and there’s more to come!
We’ve created a community hub for recreational aviation called the Fieldhouse at Thaden Field in Bentonville. By connecting outdoor experiences through aviation, we strive to make the industry even more relevant to the next generation than it is today.
We’re partnering with local and state leaders to build vibrant communities we can enjoy now and in the future. Through thoughtful collaboration, we’re developing innovative policies to address the region’s growing needs and making a difference every day.
The flagship of Arkansas aviation, Thaden Field is a municipal airport unlike any other. Investments from Runway Group helped break the barriers surrounding aviation, leading to an unmatched airport experience that instills the wonder of flight in all of us.
Located at Thaden Field, Summit Aviation works to promote and grow general aviation both locally and across the country. In addition to providing services to the aviation community throughout the year, Summit Aviation offers multiple levels of flight training to help our students achieve their aviation goals.
OZ1 is Arkansas’ premier flying club for pilots and aviation enthusiasts. We’re driving aviation experiences in order to grow the number of pilots in our community and within the industry. Whether you have been flying for years, days, or just love aircraft, you’re welcome in OZ1. Members receive discounted rates to club-owned planes, charter flights, and fuel; and also have access to speaker series and special educational opportunities.
Runway Group created Fly OZ, the backcountry aviation arm of Thaden Field’s offerings, as an opportunity for pilots to discover the endless adventures and beauty of the Ozark Hills through a network of grass airstrips in the region.
Centrally located on I Street in Bentonville, Osage Park offers adventure-based recreational opportunities in an urban park setting.
